What will be on the National ID card?

On the front:

• The National Identification Number (NIN),
• the name of the Authority that issued the Card,
• the cardholder’s name,
• date of birth,
• facial image,
• signature and
• the nationality of the individual;

On the back:

• Parish/Place of Enrolment,
• Date of Issuance,
• Date of Expiration,
• The document number,
• Whether the individual is male or female as recorded on the individual’s birth certificate,
• The status of the cardholder (Citizen or Resident);
